Pancreatic Cancer Action is the only charity that specifically focusses on improving survival rates through early diagnosis. They have developed the very first e-learning modules on pancreatic cancer for pharmacists and pharmacy assistants. The modules will help pharmacy teams understand the key role they can play in spotting symptoms of pancreatic cancer to help diagnose the disease early and improve survival rates. The modules are free, interactive and accredited.

Talking about cancer - free online course
Talking About Cancer is a free, online cancer awareness course from Cancer Research UK which gives you the tools, tips and confidence to have simple, effective conversations with anyone about cancer. The course encourages learning through quizzes, interactive discussion and video scenarios demonstrating conversational dos and don’ts, all helping you to increase your knowledge and skills to talk to the public about cancer prevention and early diagnosis. It only takes three hours to complete, and you can learn at your own pace.

Veterinary Medicines CPD
Many pharmacies supply veterinary medicines, particularly products for controlling fleas and ticks and intestinal worms. These e-learning modules will enable knowledgeable and confident advice on, and supporting the sale of, veterinary medicines. The medicines CPD e-modules are produced by Veterinary Prescriber, an independent reference and e-learning resource on veterinary medicines.
