Leadership is all about change – taking yourself and others from where you are now to where you could and should be. This has never been more important than now when community pharmacy must engage, influence and be integrated within a new local NHS including Primary Care Networks and commissioners.
This course builds on our renowned HLP Leadership course (Developing and motivating a team) which we have delivered to 1000s of HLP Leaders and formed the basis of HLP accreditation. You now need to take the next steps to take yourself and your team to another level.
Completion of this learning will provide you with the tools and knowledge to effectively communicate and engage with and thus influence commissioners and other health and care providers in your community. It will also further develop your skills to lead and support your pharmacy team to achieve a healthier future for your pharmacy business.
This course can be undertaken as a one-day workshop, a blended evening workshop with some self-directed learning or as a stand-alone self-directed learning workbook. The course is supported by our comprehensive workbook and access to video content; certification is through completion of an online assessment.
Our preference is to run this as a full day workshop supported by our workbook – we find that the interaction, motivation and learning that delegates get from each other is beneficial in addition to a deep understanding of the knowledge and tools presented.

We will send a workbook to the address you give us so that your learner can start as soon as it arrives. Once the course is completed and your learner feels ready, they can take their online assessment. They’ll be able to access the online assessment there when they are ready. They will need to follow the instructions to set up an account.
