Description
This course covers the syllabus of the RSPH Level 2 Award in Understanding Mental Wellbeing and provides the opportunity to complete the RSPH assessment and certification.
The aim is to provide delegates with a knowledge and understanding of the principles of mental wellbeing, the effect of mental wellbeing on the individual and community, and how mental wellbeing can be maintained or improved. It provides an understanding of attitudes and beliefs about mental health and wellbeing, and will enable learners will explore theoretical models used to describe mental health and wellbeing and the strategies that may be used to promote wellbeing of the people in their community.
The course is delivered through a one day face-to-face workshop with a minimum of 12 delegates.
